The scoreboard for darts night
Throw at your own board and type the visit. Throwline keeps the score for up to four players, catches the busts, and lights up the checkout route the moment someone is on a finish.

Scoring
Type the visit. Throwline does the sums.
Everyone throws at the board on your wall. After each visit, the thrower types the total or taps a quick score, and the board moves on to the next player.
Type the visit, or tap it
Three darts, one total on the keypad. The visits that come up all night are a single tap:
- 26
- 41
- 45
- 60
- 81
- 85
- 100
- 140
- 180
301, 501 or 701
Double out or straight out. One leg, or first to 2, 3, 4, 5 or 7 legs. Up to four players, or one player against the practice bot.
Busts and impossible totals caught
Past zero, or 1 left on double out, is a bust: the visit scores nothing. A total no three darts can make, such as 179, is refused.
The checkout route lights up
On a finish, the score turns amber and the route appears under it: for 121, T20T15D8.
GAME SHOT and the 180 call
The winning visit puts GAME SHOT across the board, and a maximum gets its 180 call on screen.
Undo, pause, pick up later
Undo a wrong entry. Pause a match and come back to it later: it survives closing the app.
Chalked up, visit by visit
Each leg keeps every visit and the score left after it, like the chalkboard by the oche.
A wall scoreboard on iPad
On iPad the scoreboard fills the screen, big enough to read from the throwing line.

FAQ
Before the first leg
Accounts, offline play, the rules and the bot. Every route, every bogey number: the darts checkout chart.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up and no login. Open the app, type the players' names and play. There are no ads.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Scoring, checkout routes, the chart, stats, the trainer and the bot all run on your iPhone or iPad, so a dead signal in the pub changes nothing. Buying or restoring Throwline Pro needs a connection.
Can four people play on one phone?
Yes. Up to four players share one iPhone or iPad and take their visits in turn; after each visit the thrower types the total. The first throw rotates from leg to leg. On iPad the scoreboard is big enough to prop up by the board.
What is double out?
You have to finish on exactly zero, and the last dart has to be a double: the thin outer ring, worth twice the number, or the bull, which counts as double 25. Going past zero, leaving 1, or reaching zero without a double is a bust, and the visit scores nothing. Throwline plays double out by default; switch to straight out and any dart can finish. The checkout chart has a route for every finish.
What is a bogey number?
A score of 170 or less that three darts cannot finish on a double. There are seven: 159, 162, 163, 165, 166, 168 and 169. On one of those, score with the visit and leave yourself a finish for the next. Throwline's chart marks them, and the scoreboard shows no route. Why they exist: the bogey numbers explained.
How does the practice bot work?
It is part of Throwline Pro. Pick a level from 1 to 10: level 1 throws about a 25 three-dart average, level 10 about 95. It throws a whole visit at a time, the way a player types a total, and the higher the level, the more often it takes out a finish. Its visits go on the scoreboard like anyone else's.
How do I restore a purchase?
Open Settings in Throwline and tap Restore purchase (it is also on the Throwline Pro screen). Use the same Apple ID you bought with. Lifetime comes back for good; the yearly plan comes back while it is active.
